Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
We are following national guidance and sharing advice from Public Health England in relation to the outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19) while also planning our response to the virus. Our priority is the health, safety and well-being of everyone who may use our facilities and services.
Currently, the St. Oswalds’ Pre-School remains open to key workers and we will try to stay open as long as we can. Please respect the social distancing when dropping your children off and collecting them. We are doing gate collection/drop off only.
The Council Offices are open but we request that you contact us via the telephone or email and avoid attending in person. Please note: we have no dog poo bags left.
Following a management meeting on Tuesday 17 March 2020 the Town Council have taken the decision to close the OakLeaf Sports Complex from 11.00pm on Wednesday 18 March 2020. All schedule events including the Sk8 Fest, Senior Citizen’s Trips, and MMA event have been cancelled, if possible we will try to reschedule an event at a later date.
All council meetings have been cancelled until further notice.
The OakLeaf Golf Course is currently open but we ask that anyone with any symptoms do not attend and anyone who does visit ensures they wash their hands, use the hand sanitiser and use contactless payment (the £4.00 minimum spend has been temporarily suspended). As of Monday 23 March 2020, we will not be taking any cash payments.
We request that you please monitor our facebook pages for the most up to date information as things are changing very quickly. We will try to keep you informed with any further changes.
