Volunteering

Volunteer helping with woodland management

Volunteering in the countryside is a great way to meet new friends, keep fit and learn about the local environment.

Great Aycliffe Town Council offers the opportunity for local residents to assist the Authority in the maintenance and improve the local green areas around the Town.

Volunteer activities are generally organised twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Volunteers can be picked up locally and all safety equipment and talks will be provided prior to any work commencing.

People of all abilities are welcome and you only need to volunteer for a few hours at a time.
