Events
We play a significant rôle in the Parish and try to encourage the community to become involved in the activities we provide whilst trying to ensure that the ‘Events Calendar’ includes activities and events for all members of our community, from sports coaching for our junior residents to the senior citizens’ excursions for our older residents.
We help voluntary organisations to plan some events, e.g. 10k and Fun Run. Other events include those to raise funds for the Mayor’s Charity or civic functions like the Civic Ball held in February each year.
Some of our events are organised by the Oakleaf Sports Complex, eg Fun in the Parks and the Firework Display.
