Big enough to matter small enough to care

Santa Letters

Each year Santa’s Elves put special post boxes in Newton Aycliffe so that the boys and girls can post their letters off to Santa.

Santa’s Palace

When everything is quiet, and nobody is looking, the pixies empty the boxes and take the letters to Santa’s palace in Greenland.  Santa receives and replies to about 800 letters each year from the children of the Parish, so he is very busy and has asked that you remember to put your full name and address on your letter.

We have been told that the post boxes will appear early in December at the following locations:

  • Stevens Newsagents in Beveridge Way
  • Post Office in Neville Parade
  • Horndale Post Office
  • Woodham Post Office
  • Simpasture General Store
  • Joy Marie Hairdressing in Aycliffe Village

The boxes will disappear a few days before Christmas, but e-mails and forms submitted from this page (below) will be answered right up to noon on 23rd December.  Santa has a special e-mail address Santa@great-aycliffe.gov.uk

If you don’t want to write a letter you could always use our form here:

Letter to Santa

We would love to hear from you! Please fill out this form and Santa will get in touch with you shortly.
  • Please type your full address in the boxes provided.
  • Please let Santa know your e-mail address if you would prefer to receive an e-mail rather than a letter through the post.
  • Please write what you would like Santa to bring you. Remember, Santa has lots of boys and girls to deliver to so he probably won't be able to bring everything you ask for.
