St. Oswald’s Pre-School is located in the park pavilion in the beautiful grounds of St. Oswald’s Park, in Wren Close. The park is a lovely setting for the Pre-School with play areas, grassed areas and any amount of flowers and trees.
The Pre-School has been operating for many years and we have 30 registered places. In September 2010 the opening hours were extended due to the public demand for places.
Our opening hours are:-
Morning 8.45am to 11.45am
Afternoon 12.30pm to 3.30pm
All day 8.45am to 3.30pm
Children can attend the Pre-School for either a morning, afternoon or all day, and is open during school term time only. Please see our holiday list for more information; however this is just a guide, as it does not include the five days utilised for in service training.
Please note that children who stay all day must bring a packed lunch.
If you wish your child’s name to be added to our waiting list please complete an application form.
The Pre-School uses the whole building, which consists of three connecting areas and a safe and secure outdoor area. The staff also ensure the use of the play and recreation area of the park.
We were inspected by Ofsted in April 2009 where we received a ‘good’ grading. Our latest Ofsted report is available now.
