Part-time Pre-school Assistant (Fixed Term)

18 hours per week (Mon, Tue, Wed 8:45 – 12:15 & Thu, Fri 8:45 – 12:30)

Salary Scale 1(i) Salary Point 3

Hourly Rate £12.45 per hour

Starting ASAP – Fixed Term Contract until 18th July 2025

Term time with holiday or retainer pay (as appropriate) during school holidays

 

St. Oswald’s Pre-School is Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’, providing a high standard of care and education during school term time only, for children from 2 years of age. 

As part of the SEN (Special Educational Needs) Team, this role focuses on supporting children with SEN and challenging behaviours.  Due to an increase in the number of children with SEN requiring additional support, we are currently looking for a diligent and proactive Pre-School Assistant to join our team on a fixed term contract, who have experience in dealing with complex behaviours of children with SEN.  

The Pre-School is committed to fostering a caring and inclusive atmosphere, where children with SEN are supported to develop and thrive.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 Diploma or higher childcare qualification, with sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, have experience of and an interest in working with children with SEN, and have previously worked in an early years setting.

A current Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required for this post.

Oak Leaf Sports Complex Duty Manager (maternity cover)

£27,711 pro rata or £14.36 per hour

 

A 29 hour vacancy for a Duty Manager has become available at the Oak Leaf Sports Complex to cover maternity leave.   This post will involve a range of duties to assist in the provision of an effective and high quality leisure service. You will be required to work on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends.

Pay Scale – Salary Point 1(i) 3 to 5 (Bar at Point 4)

£12.45 to £12.65 per hour

 

Applications are invited for the above post which forms part of the golf shop team at the Oak Leaf Golf Complex on a casual basis, as and when required.

 

The candidate must have previous experience of working within a customer care environment, using a computerised till system, and preferably a knowledge of the game of golf and golf products.

 

The position will support the current golf shop team and will include shop work.

 

The Golf Shop is open 7 days a week and the opening hours are between 6.30am and 10.00pm. You may therefore be required to work shifts on evenings and weekends.

Full-time Pre-School Assistant

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience of working with children, hold a Level 3 Diploma or higher childcare qualification, with sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and have previously worked in an early years setting.

Experience of working with SEN children is preferred.

A current Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required for these posts.
