Playing Golf Under COVID-19 Restrictions
Following the latest COVID-19 updates and the decision to reopen Golf Courses, we would like to assure you that our main priority is the well-being of our members, visitors and staff of Oakleaf Golf Complex. We continue to maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards and as a precautionary measure our employees are taking extra steps during this time to ensure the safety and comfort of our members and visitors.
Play Safe Stay Safe Measures
Face covering must be worn in the pro shop. If you do not have an acceptable face covering you will not be allowed entry and will be unable to use the golf course or driving range.
Track and Trace is in operation and is mandatory
ALL golfers must book a tee off time prior to arrival, any golfers turning up to the golf club without a booked tee time will NOT be allowed to play
Members and Visitors are permitted to play
Golfers must maintain social distancing guidelines at all times.
No golf prior to 8am
All players must sign in at the pro shop prior to teeing off and observe social distancing markers within the shop
Tee Times are now at 10 minute intervals and must be strictly observed to maintain the constant 10 minute group spacing whilst out on the course
Off Peak green fee prices are currently unavailable due to reduced number of tee times
Players should not arrive at the club no earlier than 20 minutes prior to their booked tee off time. It is also recommended the players do not park adjacent to their fellow golfers
Players will only be allowed entry to the pro shop 10 minutes before their tee time
Players must arrive at the first tee no more than 5 minutes prior to their booked tee off time and mustn’t tee off any earlier than their booked time
Golf Buggies are NOT available for hire
The changing rooms and toilets are CLOSED. Players should change into their golf shoes/golf attire at their car
The Golf Course
Flag sticks must remain in the hole. The cups have been inverted to assist ball retrieval
Rakes have been removed from bunkers
All golfers MUST play the course in order and NO cutting in will be allowed. If you do not wish to play the full 18 holes, you must walk off whilst following social distancing guidelines without playing a golf ball
Players must not go back to the tee if a wayward tee shot goes out of bounds. Instead golfers must drop in the fairway at a 2 shot penalty
Golfers are advised to NOT pick up stray golf balls on the course
Players must not approach greenkeepers
DRIVING RANGE
The Driving Range will reopen on Monday 12th April with the following restrictions in place
The following guidelines must be adhered to for use of the Driving Range under Covid-19 restrictions:
Access to pro shop only allowed if less than 2 people in the pro shop.

- Exit from the range is only allowed if less than 2 people in the pro shop.
- One player per bay. Users are not allowed to have anyone accompanying them when using the range this includes family members.
- No standing is allowed in the walkway behind the bays.
- If you are waiting for access to the range social distancing guidelines must be maintained outside the pro shop.
- Hands MUST be sanitised prior to entry, after collecting the range balls from the machine, after touching any range equipment or fixtures and on exit from the shop.
- Any drinks bottles or rubbish must be taken away with you from the premises.
- Card payment only.
- No hire or demo clubs available.
- Users to maintain social distancing at all times.
- Doors will be kept open.
The Pro Shop
Hand sanitiser will be available before entry to the pro shop and MUST be used
Payments, preferably contactless, can only be made by card
A maximum of 2 golfers will be allowed in at any one time
Social distancing guidelines must be followed at all times
FAILURE TO FOLLOW ANY OF THESE GUIDELINES WILL RESULT IN A TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP OR A BAN FROM THE GOLF COURSE OR DRIVING RANGE
