Access from the road
Southbound
- From the A1(M)/A167 turn right after the traffic lights after the Gretna Green Public House
- Follow the road around the right-hand curve and turn left onto Horndale Avenue
- At the mini roundabout take the first exit, onto School Aycliffe Lane
- The entrance road to the Oakleaf Sports Complex is 300M on the right
- Follow the road and yo will reach the Sports Complex
Northbound
- From the A1(M)/A167, after Aycliffe Village, take the left lane before the traffic lights
- Follow the road round the right-hand curve and turn left onto Horndale Avenue
- At the mini roundabout take the first exit, onto School Aycliffe Lane
- The entrance road to the Oakleaf Sports Complex is 300M on the right
- Follow the road and you will reach the Sports Complex
Railway
Newton Aycliffe Train Station is a short walk from the centre, cross the Gantry bridge and walk up the hill. Services are provided by www.northernrail.org
