Here at the OakLeaf Sports Complex we have created a club for the over 50’s.  We recognise the importance of keeping active as you get older.

Exercise can make day to day life more enjoyable and will help improve your health, stamina, balance and flexibility. It’s also a great way for you to socialise and meet new friends.

Often people think that suffering aches, pains and weaker muscles are all part of ageing. Many of these symptoms are a result of inactivity; you may find exercise will help.

Getting started may seem daunting but we are here to help, you will be able to take part at your own pace.

If you are uncertain about any of the activities we have included in our programme please contact your GP prior to booking.

All you will need is comfortable clothing and trainer type shoes and when going on walks please wear waterproof clothing and footwear.

If you would like to take part please contact Reception on 01325 300600 to book your place, it’s that easy. Only £3.00 per session for members and £3.50 per session for non-members.

Oak Life program of activities include Bowls, Netball, Badminton, Volley Ball, Fitness Class, Driving Range and much more.

This session has been created for over 50’s wishing to keep active and meet with friends, new and old for a coffee.

Every Monday from 2pm – 3pm;

  • £2.00 for members
  • £2.50 for non-members
  • New members always welcome!
