Firework Safety Poster Competition

👩‍🎨 Firework Safety Poster Competition 2026

Spark Creativity. Celebrate Safety. Shine Bright.

Great Aycliffe Town Council is thrilled to invite the children of our community to take part in this year’s Firework Safety Poster Competition — a colourful celebration of creativity, imagination, and staying safe during the firework season.

Whether your child loves painting, drawing, digital art, collage, or crafting with glitter and glue, every medium is welcome. We want to see bold ideas, brilliant colours, and powerful messages about firework safety.

🌟 Who Can Enter?

The competition is open to all children living in Great Aycliffe and will be judged across five age categories:

  • Pre‑School & Nursery — budding artists taking their first creative steps
  • Reception – Year 2 (ages 4–7) — imaginative early learners
  • Years 3 & 4 (ages 7–9) — growing creators with big ideas
  • Years 5 & 6 (ages 9–11) — confident young designers
  • Years 7 and above (ages 11+) — expressive and independent artists

First, second, and third prizes will be awarded in each category — so there are plenty of chances to shine.
