Street Bands Performing

Experience an exciting line-up of dynamic and diverse brass bands:

Yorky Pud Street Band

A bold blend of jazz, oom-pah, mash-ups, and New York subway flair. Known as the “graviest band around,” Yorky Pud delivers a brash, unmistakable sound. They’ve performed at Hallowe’en and Christmas events at This Green Moon, supported Burlesque with The Scarlet Sirens at Connexins Live Arena, and appeared at Durham Brass 2025. Expect high-energy busking vibes and unforgettable performances.

Brazen Brass Band

A powerhouse collective of the UK’s finest female brass and percussion players. With members from around the world and backgrounds spanning jazz, classical, and traditional brass, Brazen creates a joyful, sing-along atmosphere. Their mission: to showcase women in brass and inspire girls everywhere to pick up an instrument and PLAY.

Loud Noises

A thrilling fusion of contemporary brass and high-octane dancehall improvisation. Loud Noises blur the line between performer and audience, creating one of the most interactive and engaging brass experiences in Britain.

Back Chat Brass

One band. Eight instruments. Infinite fun. Rooted in pop, funk, and hip hop, Back Chat Brass brings brassy beats that ignite any crowd. Since 2016, they’ve played thousands of gigs worldwide, lifting roofs and coaxing even the shyest dancers onto their feet with their signature takes on classic hits.

Mr Wilson’s Second Liners

Where New Orleans meets 90s club classics. This is a rave funeral without the body-an explosion of colour, rhythm, and nostalgia. Inspired by the New Orleans Second Line tradition and the spirit of the Hacienda, Mr Wilson’s Second Liners turn every street corner into a joyful, anarchic dance party.
