Great Aycliffe Town Council’s Annual Fireworks Display takes place on Thursday 5th November 2026 at the Oak Leaf Sports Complex.
The event is FREE, however those wishing to attend the display must apply for a wristband. Wristbands will be available at the OakLeaf Sports Complex from Tuesday 20th October 2026, the wristbands will be available from 1pm until 7pm each day until all wristbands have been distributed.
To be eligible for a wristband you must:
- Reside in the Parish of Great Aycliffe
- Supply proof of your address with a recent utility bill
or driving licence
One person may apply for their families wristbands, please note limited number of wristbands are available.
NO WRISTBAND NO ENTRY
There will be a children’s fairground and food stalls. Limited disabled parking (35 spaces) is available at the pavilion.

5.00pm – Kiddies Fairground
6.30pm – Beacon will be lit
6.45pm – Fireworks Display
