The Council elects a Town Mayor (Chairman of the Council) from among its members and the Mayor elected for the municipal year 2025 – 2026 is:

The Mayor has chosen the following good causes to fundraise for during his term of office:

OptionsA member-led service for adults with learning and physical disabilities.

Wishing Well – The Wishing Well Club promotes and provides leisure opportunities for adults with learning disabilities but does welcome members between 16 and 18 who are accompanied by an identified responsible adult. (Charity Number 1057460).
